Doing the right thing. Sounds easy, but how many of us do it when presented a moral dilemma?
A free lunch?
Today I was buying lunch and saw the person in front of me give a ten dollar bill for their food and the cashier give them $10 and change back. The person looked kind of stunned. They went back to their seat and I watched to see them make their moral decision. He returned to the till where I was at and excused himself to tell the cashier that they had made a mistake, and explained it. The mistake was adjusted and the correct change was given back. I wonder how many people would have taken the free lunch in that situation?
Ethics in real estate
In real estate, many times we face the same moral choices. And in most cases, we make the right ones, but as in life, there are those that do not. That does not make us all bad, but it is simply a correlation of the world’s population in general. I believe that my industry has some of the best people in it. Regardless of your past experiences with real estate agents, you will find that most of the top agents really care about you.
